Hi, I’m Maria—a wife, a mom, and someone who hopes to share the food I love in a place that feels like home. I didn’t set out to open just a restaurant—I wanted to create a space that feels familiar, even if it’s your first time walking in. Growing up with the rich flavors of India and Pakistan, I learned early on that food has a way of bringing people together. When my family and I made Slave Lake our home, I knew I wanted to share that feeling with this community. This restaurant is personal. It’s for newcomers missing a taste of home, for families trying something new, and for anyone who just wants a warm meal made with heart.
